Narrative:Script

Unbroken Heart

 

INT: The scene takes place in Ashley kitchen, a married 26 year old, with her two best friends Megan and Lily while they drink red wine and talk about Ashley marriage.

Beat #1: Ashley is fed up with her husband, Megan and Lily is trying to be supportive yet is still trying to get her out her bad mood.

Ashley
 

I’m so sick of John all he wants to do is sleep. I’m getting so fed up with this marriage. He doesn’t try hard enough anymore to even try and make me happy. Being lazy is free!

Megan
 

ASH! You can’t stay mad forever! Sometimes you just have to talk to him and let him know, you need him to meet you half way.

Beat#2: Ashley calms down and is starting to realize she may be overreacting, Lily hesitant to speak.

Lily
 

Megan is right Ash!!. Anthony and I were having bad times. We were unsure about love. But after talking and finding what we had lost. We found our love and the romance we once had.

Megan
 

I’m pretty sure you guys are just going through a little patch that all marriages go through. Trust and believe, time heals all.

Beat#3: Ashley gets very aggravated.

Ashley stands up from table and starts to walk off.

You can think what you want! We choose the love we think we deserve! I will not be misguided with a unbroken heart with extra luaggage for someone else.

The first person I choose was Sgt Bailon, she has been in the Air Force for 12 years. She have been deployed in Afghanistan 4 times. Her life is very hectic traveling from state to state to train new cadets. She have lived in Indiana for 3 years so far. She works at Notre Dame Air Force ROTC as a recruiter and a NCOIC Knowledge Operations Management. She is also a single parent with an adorable 4 year old son name Isaias that keep her even more busy than her life already is.To be able to interview someone with so much knowledge about being a hardworking single mother that is in the Air Force is amazing.
                               
The second person I choose was Irma she works three jobs and balances school as well. She works very hard and loves to have fun on her breaks / off time. She majoring in nursing and plans on moving after she gets her degree. I find her interesting because she will always use her time valuable and will always get done the things she need too.

                           
My third person I choose was Briana she is married with a 4 year old daughter, she graduated from IU in 2010 with a bachelors degree. She is also apart of the Zeta sorority . Now she works for the Indiana government as a social worker for Child Protective Services and she also is a personal stylist. She intrigues me because she have accomplished so much for being so young. Her style is amazing and her influence to other young women about sisterhood is a bond that she push to teach other girls.

Emotion Photos "Love"

Love as a emotion can represent alot. Many times as people we look over the things that may represent love and bring out that emotion. Like holding hands, wearing your wedding ring, the color red(yes , the color red), or hugging(family/friends) all evoke the emotion of love. Many symbols also evoke the emotion of love such as hearts or etc.

Influence/Concept: Visuals inspired by the 1971 film A Clockwork Orange

Controversy: A fashion photographer by the name of Solve Sundsbo claims Rihanna blatantly stole concepts of the video from his ’2008 Numero 93′ collection photo shoot.

Homage: Rihanna grabs her crotch reminiscent of Michael Jackson's dance moves.

Video Layout: In the first images from the London set, Rihanna sported short blonde hair, torn denim shorts, patterned leggings, and a white bowler hat. She held a black cane as she performed scenes in front of a bright pink wall in the visuals inspired by the 1971 film A Clockwork Orange.      

                          The clip is partly a photo shoot and a lyric video as lyrics are stamped across the screen and Rihanna's body, and was shot mainly in black and white. She wears numerous outfits and blonde wigs throughout the video as she emulates the clothes from A Clockwork Orange by wearing a white bowler hat and cane from Laird Hatters, sporting a smoky eye in homage, and smacking her pink pouty lips with bubblegum. Rihanna later strips down to a flesh-coloured leotard as she writhes on the floor with strategically placed artistic shards of light to created leopard spots and tiger stripes on her skin. Several scenes capture solely her mouth; first with a gold grill covering her bottom row of teeth, and later with smoke billowing from her lips transitioning into and out of the words "Dream" and later "You Da One".

        
            

                   Another scene finds Rihanna in a white tank top and tattered jean shorts, swinging a cane in between two brick buildings. She continuously exudes sexuality; in several scenes, she touches and thrusts her crotch (reminiscent of Michael Jackson's dance moves, as noted by Jason Lipshutz of Billboard), struts toward the camera with a pimp cane, endorses provocative dance moves, and drapes herself over a giant ball. Using the latter move, she is found in a black and white checkered background room where she moves around a larger than life playing card. The video ends with Rihanna running away from the camera and jumping into a chair, throwing her legs over the side with a smile on her face.
